The Chair of Public Economics is located close to the main building of the university in Schackstrasse 4.

Public Transport

• Deutsche Bahn (train): arrival at Hauptbahnhof, Ostbahnhof respectively; from there S-Bahn to Marienplatz, then subway lines U3 or U6 to station "Universität"
• S-Bahn (suburban train): arrival at Marienplatz, then subway lines U3 or U6 to station "Universität"
• U-Bahn (subway): arrival per line U3 oder U6 at station "Universität"
• Bus: line 54 to bus-stop "Universität"

Arrival by Airplane

• From the Airport of Munich you can reach Marienplatz by S-Bahn (line S1 or S8, respectively).
  From there you can take the subway lines U3 or U6 to station "Universität"
• The distance from the Airport to the University by taxi is about 30 km.
