Letters of recommendation

Recommendation letters

We are happy to write letters of recommendation for your Master's or doctoral applications or scholarship applications if you have successfully taken at least one lecture, seminar or the Bachelor's thesis at our department. Please understand that we cannot issue you a letter of recommendation if an application to your chosen institution is not promising with your grades. The same applies to degree programmes with very elaborate and complicated online portals for submitting letters of recommendation. An expert opinion should be a meaningful signal about your suitability for the addressee.
For this reason, we always prepare our evaluations with an open mind and can prepare a maximum of five evaluations per student. Our agreement to prepare an expert opinion for you does not mean that we will recommend you in every case.
